According to those interviewed in Kisii town they said he has a good track record on performance, however, he should not have vied for the seat but instead, leave it for the young and energetic youths from the county.

“We like him but he would have left that position for another person who can remain active for the next five years,” said Evans Kebira a resident in Kisii

Another resident, Carol Mosioma accused the elected MCAs and governor of endorsing an old man when they can take over the roles as the youth from the county.

David Kombo is the immediate former Kisii County public service chairperson aged 81-year-old and was elected by a majority vote.
