Uhuru is scheduled to visit the county to launch a host of projects including roads and health facilities according to the county government.

A relative of the affected victim confirmed the ordeal they were going through and challenged the county government to be honest.

“At least twenty patients have been evicted to create space for the presidential visit. My uncle who was admitted here has been dismissed prematurely and this isn’t a good show,” said Mr Araka John.

“They are dismissing many patients just because they don’t want the president to see the exact picture on what is happening on a routine basis. Time has come for the county government to desist from hoodwinking national leaders," he added.

"Let the president share our problems by seeing that we don’t have enough space in our referral hospital,” he said.

However, Health Executive Mrs Sarah Omache vehemently denied the claims and dismissed them as ‘cheap’ propaganda meant to taint the credibility of the county government of Kisii.

“I am not aware of such incidents because that is cheap propaganda being orchestrated by enemies of change. I want to challenge those propagating the rumors top come forth and show the evidence," said Omache.
