Kenyans on social media have condemned the assault incident on a female election observer in Nyeri County.
The lady was assaulted on Wednesday at Kiamariga Police Station in Mathira Constituency by alleged supporters of Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua following a confrontation between the MP and election officials during the Ruguru Ward by-election.
