Residents of Kenlands in Nakuru Town West have raised concerns over the poor drainage system in the area.

The residents on Sunday lamented that most sewerage pipes in the area have blocked spewing dirt all over.

"We have to contend with foul smell in this area as sometimes sewage water flows freely on the road," said Nancy Bett.

Her sentiments were echoed by Ezekiel Kibue who challenged the county health ministry to act swiftly and contain the situation before it goes out of hand.

"We are staring at an epidemic here.The county government should act fast before an epidemic strikes", he added.
