URP Nakuru Youth leader Hassan Haji now wants a court order barring opposition leader Raila Odinga from talking about President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee leadership
Haji argued that Raila was disrespecting leaders who had been chosen by the people and the only way to stop them was to ensure he was gagged from engaging in “abusive talks” about the leaders.
Speaking to the press in Nakuru on Thursday Haji threatened to seek the high court compel them to stop the abuses.
“Every time Raila starts talking he is either abusing the leaders or making claims that cannot be substantiated,” he added.
He accused him of not only causing tension in the county but also breeding hatred among the different political groups.
“It's unfair that he is disrespecting and abusing leaders who were elected by the people and won by a significant margin. By abusing them he is clearly trying to portray Kenyans as people who did not think about their decision before they went to the ballot,” he added.
He called on the Kenyan media to avoid giving him coverage on such controversial issues.
“It is clear that he is enjoying the game and the free publicity that the media is giving him which has been a key factor in his weird talks,” he added.
