NASA leader Raila Odinga could after all be banned from travelling to US following decision to refuse to recogise Uhuru Kenyatta as president, reports the Sunday Nation.

Last week, 11 envoys under the leadership of Washington DC representative Robert Godec, demanded that Odinga must recognise Uhuru for any dialogue to be brokered.

"To have a national conversation, NASA must recognise the government which was legally installed," he said.

On Friday, NASA supporters responded by protesting outside US embassy in Gigiri, accusing Godec of interfering with internal affairs of the country.

And as part of taming Odinga, the Nation adds, the US will be among the first to crack a whip on top NASA luminaries by cancelling their Visa.

"Some countries among the US are in the process of imposing sanctions on Odinga. This will include visa ban," reported the paper.

Although it is not clear on what Odinga's option would be, sources close to ODM intimate that he may remain in politics for longer time than expected.
