President Donald Trump's special envoy to Africa Donald Yamamoto has reportedly written to NASA Chief Executive Noman Magaya over plans to swear in Raila Odinga.

For the past few weeks, the EALA nominee has been on the front line pushing for swearing-in of Odinga, a move that not gone down well with Washington DC.

"US recognizes you effort in NASA but its time you drop your hard line position against the current government and pave way for Uhuru and Raila dialogue," read part of the letter that was leaked by Oduor Ongwen.

He added: "Your radical position that Odinga to be sworn in may sabotage peace and stability and probably plunge the country into chaos. I am concerned with your current trend."

With US warning against the planned swearing-in, Odinga hit back on Thursday by accusing Washington DC of keeping silent on alleged police brutality.

Magaya along with young NASA politicians notably Babu Owino, Simba Arati and Edwin Sifuna are among those leading the swearing-in affair whose venue still remain unknown.
