The US state department has issued a warning of possible violence in the October 17 repeat polls.
According to the statement, the US said the rallies and demonstrations organised with the agenda of promoting peace may turn confrontational and escalate into violence.
The statements points out at the following areas as potential violence hot beds, they include Eastleigh, Nairobi, Mandera, Wajir, Garissa, Tana River, Lamu and parts of Kilifi.
Last month protests were erupted in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Migori after IEBC declared Uhuru Kenyatta the president-elect.
