President Uhuru Kenyatta has called upon the youth and students to use the right channels to communicate their complaints and discomforts.

Speaking during a ceremony held at the Nairobi State House on Friday the 12th of August, he urged them to use dialogue to resolve conflicts rather than going the violence way.

The president was referring to the widespread arson attacks that schools have witnessed in the recent past allegedly committed by students.

He further advised the students to live past exams telling them that life does not end with exams or grades but they should also nurture their talents.

Also present were governors Ken Lusaka, Benjamin Cheboi, Senator Abdirahman Ali among other leaders.

The head of state was also giving out buses to schools he had promised earlier which included 6 secondary schools and a college.

The benefiting schools included Wajir Girls High School in Wajir, Chilchilla Secondary School, Uhuru Kenyatta High School, State House Primary, St Mary's Sossiot Girls high School, Elburgon Secondary School and Kericho Teachers College.
