LLimuru MP John Kiragu has urged youths to venture into talents and use it as a source of livelihood in the area following the unemployment which is a cancer in Kenya.

The MP who was speaking in Michael Josephs Centre in Limuru town during the album launch of ‘Back to Basics’ by Sam Tharao on Friday said that he is committed in supporting the young people as they explore their talents.

Kiragu said that unemployment in the country has resulted to terrorism live alone drugs and substance abuse in the country that the government needs to start from the grass roots.

He said that youths are being recruited into terrorisms by the Al Shabaab due to unemployment and the government should set its priorities right if they want to defeat terrorism.

The legislator expressed his concerns with increased number of unemployment in the country accusing the government of failing to fulfill its manifesto promises of job vacancies in the country.

He has called on youths to improvise legal source of income to better their life insisting talents venturing is the simplest way to earn a living.

The engineer said that talents come from God and it doesn’t need any education qualities all you need is room to practice to perfect your ambitions.

He has promised to establish music studio in his constituency to boost music industry from Limuru constituency since he believes Limuru has got talents that is yet to erupt.

The law maker has called on his counterparts to develop strategies to curb unemployment and urged well wishers to join hands in supporting young talents in not only Kiambu county but the entire nation as well.
