The opposition has been challenged to use the right channels in their bid of removing the IEBC from the office.
Speaking during Nyamira county tour on Wednesday President Uhuru Kenyatta challenged the opposition to understand and use the right channels as documented by the constitution.
“The opposition has the right of removing IEBC from the office but they should use the right channels as required by the constitution, they are the ones who supported the constitution so they need to respect it as one way of moving this nation ahead,” Uhuru said.
Therefore, he cautioned residents to avoid being used by politicians who wants to force things to happen.
“People of Nyamira lets come together and work as a nation let us stop engaging in politics which will divide us," added Uhuru.
He also said that his administration is focused on making sure all development projects are achieved.
This comes after the Cord led by their three principals vowed to continue with their bid of removing the IEBC commissioners from the office.
