The National Super League leaders Vihiga United suffered a surprising defeat when they fell to KCB in a surprise defeat.
The Wednesday loss toppled them from the helm of the table.
KCB's Simon Abuko struck at the hour mark to send the team to into the winning gear by the final whistle.
KCB now top the table with two points above Vihiga while Ken Kenyatta-coached Ushuru take second position.
Ushuru beat Kibera Black Stars 1-0 at Camp Toyoyo in Nairobi and will be in contention of the top league finish with Vihiga and KCB.
