Guess, it’s true, February is once again here with us, and it is the month of love. As Sam Smith would put it, its not good luck to be so emotional, but gain some self-control. In any case, every guy still needs love.
Just to take you back over what developed in a Nakuru campus last Valentine’s. A drop-dead gorgeous lady walked by. She was in a dark dress, her jet-black hair lying on the back of her neck, down from her head.
She had a cross around her neck and a red flower in her left hand. She was coconut-brown-skin such that her petal-soft skin tone gave the impression of a seed coat, like that of a young ground nut seed still in its pod. She smiled with startling beauty.
As the wind blew, she softly clutched the edge of her dress from going up. Little did she know every guy was destroyed as she passed them, only to leave drowning voices that faded when she took a breath to say something, and in that moment, everyone was blown over.
Valentine’s now pumping in their bloodstreams like adrenaline does.
Love indeed can hurt and heal, but it is the only thing that makes every single guy feel alive, especially in college.
Unfortunately, it is in college where love can get extreme.
Let’s put it this way, for semesters on, every man has his doubts, particularly when the girl denies it with every tear.
“This is over,” the guy decides, but deep down his heart knows he still needs her.
On the other hand, she wishes it would be over now, after all its Valentine. She thinks he’s crazy.
By now the guy knows what she’s done.
Calling him honey won’t influence his doubt, even during Valentine, because he’s not the only one.
Sadly, the guy has to make true his decision because her heart now is unobtainable.
It is during this time that comes in the 14th day of every second month of the year, which makes every guy realise his deepest fear.
It is when every campus guy knows they are not alone.
They are just torn between two worlds, when cupid strikes.
