The institution is slated to have its second graduation ceremony next week, but some of the graduands complain that they have not yet been given their transcripts in order to know whether they are graduating or not.

Speaking to our reporter, some of the affected students blamed office of the Academic Registrar and Campus Coordinators for failing to process their transcripts in time.

"Am very sad that up to now I have not known whether am graduating or not since I have not received my results for third and fourth years,” said one of the students in the Faculty of Education and Human Resource Development.

"Our branch coordinator has not been helping us, promising that he is going to take transcripts from main Campus for the last two months but up to now, he has not heeded to his promise,” added the student.

Another student from the Faculty of Commerce is subjecting his complaint to the Dean of students for not doing enough in ensuring they have all results in time.

“I paid the graduation charges last week as we were ordered by our branch Coordinator but my worry is I went to the examination department to check on my marks, but unfortunately, they said they can not trace me in the system and therefore, referred me to my Campus," said another students.

Kisii University was chartered early last year by former president Mwai Kibaki, and held its first graduation ceremony on December the same year but since then, it has faced myriad challenges including students rampaging mid this year, accusing the University Management of increasing school fees without notice.
