Members of staff at Egerton University who have children pursuing higher education will benefit from an education bursary fund that the university administration has initiated as an incentive. According to a circular addressed to all workers, applicants who wish to benefit from the fund should attach genuine admission letters and copies of birth certificates for children under the age of 25. The circular was released and signed by Sammy Njema, the registrar in charge of administration. “All applicants should apply to the office of the deputy vice chancellor administration & finance," part of the communication read. “Please not that children above the age of 25, on postgraduate, certificate courses or studying in un-recognised institutions are not legible for the fund,’’ said Njema.
