University students in Kisumu County are on the spot over bad behaviour.
Kisumu city residents chairman Audi Ogada challenged university students to retain the intellectual image amongst themselves.
Ogada said parents are marshalling their efforts to see their children get education and young intellects should reciprocate by portraying good manners.
Speaking on Tuesday at Jumuia hotel, Ogada said county residents are not happy with the high rate of irrational behaviours by young people.
“Let’s portray a reputable image to the residents. There are also children who are looking at you and they will emulate what you are doing,” said Ogada.
Kisumu Young Elites chairperson Fleming Otieno echoed Ogada’s sentiment and urged his colleagues to show dignified behaviours.
“When you behave well the society will see it and you may find yourself securing a job out of your good manners,” advised Otieno.
He emphasized on importance of good manners noting that every happening in their lives should be reputable.
“Reputable conduct is a key fundamental to our infants and elites body, let’s portray intellectual manners,” urged Otieno.
Joyce Ogosa, a student leader said that much needed to be done by the young intellects to shape up irrational behaviour.
“We need to keep a naming, and this can only be achieved when we shape our irrational behaviours by doing reputable actions,” said Ogosa.
