Speaking to the press in the institution today, the Vice Chancellor Professor Mabel Imbuga said that Focus involves in training and mentoring students.

She added that plans are underway for commissions to be held once every three years in the institution to mobilise students, graduates, church leaders and other mission practitioners.

“This conference will help impact much positive knowledge in students mostly on Christian values while in the college and even after graduating,” Imbuga said.

Imbuga revealed that this year she plans to bring together about 5000 delegates from over 20 countries to reflect on God given mandate to influence society in Africa and the institutions’ campuses countrywide.

“I have organised to host more than 5000 delegates from different countries to mentor not only my students but influence the African society in various campuses,” she added.

The Professor added that JKUAT is pleased to host the commission 2014 especially because it empowers students for global impact and provide opportunities for information exchange, networking and partnership development.
