Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong has called on all eligible voters across the country to participate in the ongoing IEBC voter verification exercise.

This he says will prevent them from being listed as dead voters come the August 8.

Addressing journalist after verifying his details with IEBC clerks in Busia Town, Thursday, the ODM governor said the ongoing process was very important for any Kenyan who wants to participate in the August 8 polls.

“The current exercise is very thorough. After undergoing the verification process, I discovered that all the details I submitted while registering as a voter are intact.''

''I want all voters in Busia and country at large to ensure that they too visit their polling stations to verify their biodata. Ensure your name is in the register and you append your signature and thumb print where your photo is,” Ojaamong’ said.
