Veteran politician and human rights activist Koigi wa Wamwere has resolved to dissolve his party and join the newly-formed Jubilee Party.
The Chama Cha Mwanachi will now merge with JP officially on Saturday.
Making the announcement on Wednesday in Nakuru, Koigi said that his party shares the same policies with Jubilee hence the decision to dissolve.
He said the two outfits are united by zero tolerance to tribalism and the zeal in the fight against corruption.
According to the former lawmaker, the decision was arrived at after consultations with Jubilee party steering committee chair Kiraitu Murungi.
The Jubilee merger is set to be made official on Saturday in an occasion that will be attended by delegates from across the country.
