[Photo|Eddy Illah]Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili donated items to victims of fire tragedy that burnt down a dormitory at Sigoti Girls Complex in Nyakach. Most of the affected students lost their belongings during the fire incident, and are struggling to start afresh even as Form Four candidates prepare for the KCSE exams due to begin next month.Owili was accompanied by various local leaders and school management, Friday, where he said it was important to learn from the tragedy and reminded the management about the need to pay attention to safety standards and precautions in schools.He thanked the public who came out in support of the school and the girls during the incident, which happened early September.
