Tottenham Hotspur superstar Victor Wanyama could reportedly leave the club by the end of the summer transfer window and has now been linked with one rather surprising Bundesliga side.
The Kenyan international is understood to be keen on signing an improved contract at the London club, but his future depends on Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino ambitions to strengthen his squad.
According to German website Sports Bild, Dortmund are interested in signing him from Tottenham Hotspur and would cost £50m fee to acquire his services.
According to reports Lucien Favre Dortmund's head coach feels Wanyama's aggression and passing range could be useful to his side and it appears the deal could well go ahead.
Wanyama has been at Tottenham since they bought him for £11million from Southampton in 2016. He was sidelined last season due to injury and missed most of the games, but was at his best the year before when Spurs’ finished second in the premier league.
Wanyama, now 26, has all the attributes to be a very good midfielder but there's a feeling that he's still not realised his full potential. Maybe a switch to a more dynamic side could be exactly what he needs.
