A charged Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i on Thursday confronted two Indians in Nairobi as the man hunt on foreigners without work permit kicked off.
In the video widely circulated on social media, the tough speaking minister tasked the two foreigners to produce work permit and even faulted them for doing duties which 'can be performed by Kenyans'.
According to Matiang'i, hundreds of aliens have been working in the country without permit and has since given them a grace period to make authentic applications.
The ministry has toughed immigration rules with Matiang'i targeting to deport illegal immigrants from the country.
The crackdown comes at a time Matiang'i is being accused of blocking lawyer Miguna Miguna from gaining access to the country despite several court orders.
On Thursday, the ministry through the Immigration Department reportedly wrote to all airlines warning them against ferrying Miguna Miguna to the country.
