Ford Kenya deputy party leader, Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale, almost fell, as he criticised Kenya's founding father, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta's leadership.

Khalwale was as well criticising Rtd President Mwai Kibaki's leadership, and incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee government, saying the trio failed the people of the Luhya Community.

Addressing his supporters, the former Ikolomani MP slipped, and almost injured himself as he held a microphone, when he made a step forward, on the podium.

According to Khalwale, the three governments segregated the Luhya, hence no need of the Abaluhya people to support Jubilee, which is seeking re-election for a second term.

"We (Luhyas) made a mistake, to appoint the father of Uhuru Kenyatta to rule Kenya. For 15 years of his leadership, the Luhya people received nothing. We were again governed by Uhuru's 'small' father, Mwai Kibaki for 10 years. The Luhya received nothing. Uhuru has governed us for five years. 15 plus 10, plus 5 is equal to 30," Khalwalwe said, as he slipped, almost falling on the ground.

He wondered why Mumias East MP, Ben Washiali, who left the Opposition, for Jubilee Party, asked the Abaluhya to join Jubilee, yet they were given raw deal, since.

"So Washiali, when you come to us (the Luhyas) with a bottle of milk, hoodwinking us to vote for Uhuru, you are likening us to fools. You are trying to fool us," he said.
