There was drama along Moi Avenue on Monday evening when a woman who was hawking onions went to the extreme to avoid arrest by city inspectorate Askaris popularly known as Kanjo.
In a sad video being shared online, the unidentified woman is seen crying underneath a Matatu as the crew try to comfort her and beg her to come out.
The woman is finally helped out from underneath the vehicle and the Matatu crew help her salvage of what is left of her onions business.
At the end of the video, the woman can be seen still sobbing on a city pavement while another hawker helps pick the scattered onions.
Kanjo are known to be ruthless to Hawkers in the CBD and there have been reports of some of them being killed in the hands of City Inspectorate Askaris
