President Uhuru Kenyatta, has continued to receive criticism from across various leaders, after he attacked the Supreme Court, over a ruling that saw his re-election annulled, last week Friday.

With his Deputy William Ruto, Uhuru vowed to 'fix' and 'deal' with the Chief Justice David Maraga and his team, following the ruling that saw their opponents, Raila Odinga-led National Super Alliance (Nasa), emerge victor.

The judges ordered for a fresh presidential poll, in 60 days, starting September 1. Uhuru and Raila are likely to face each other once again, in the contest.

Central Organisation of Trade Union (Cotu) Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, weighed in, and asked Uhuru to sober up. He asked him to relax, and avoid making 'silly' mistakes, by attacking an independent institution which he vowed to respect, uphold and defend, during his oath of office, after the March 4th, 2013 general election.

According to the workers' representative, Kenyans who voted for Uhuru may change their minds, if he continues to speak angrily about the Supreme Court and Maraga.

He said people like him, were born voters, and would definitely vote for him.

"I voted for President Uhuru's father (Jomo Kenyatta), I have been voting for (former) President (Daniel Araap) Moi throughout, I have been voting for (former president Mwai) Kibaki throughout and I have been voting for Uhuru and my children will continue to vote like that.. so we are a family of voters," revealed the outspoken leader.

"Some of us are voters, so we should be given the peace that we need as Kenyans. I am appealing to our president, that he should not be emotional, he should not be irrational, he has no moral authority if he himself appealed to Kenyans that he will accept the results," added Atwoli.

He addressed the press, from Nairobi, Sunday.
