Raila Odinga on Monday departed for Nairobi from Kisumu, and his supporters thronged the Lakeside Airport to see him off in spectacular fashion. 

The former Prime Minister has in the last week insisted that he will still be sworn-in as the president, an event he says will take place on 12 December.
