Tana River governor Hussein Dado is the latest Jubilee Party's political catch, ahead of the August 8, polls.

Dado who was elected on a Wiper Democratic Movement in 2013, said he left the Kalonzo Musyoka-led party for Jubilee after three years of consultations.

According to him, nobody forced him to join Jubilee, and had nothing to regret about, since his elders were aware of the move.

Speaking when he received the governor, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto said it was Dado's personal move.

"It is because of love for jubilee and willingness to work for the people,'' Ruto told a Tana River delegation, at State House, Mombasa, Sunday.
