It has been revealed that Nasa leaders were blocked from conducting a political rally at a stadium in West Pokot.
ODM's Turkana governor, Josphat Nanok attacked West Pokot governor Simon Kachapin, saying he was behind the move.
"Recently, I invited President Uhuru Kenyatta in my county, and I opened Lodwar stadium, for him to conduct his rally. Now I'm wondering, we have come here as the Nasa Team. Why would my colleague block us from conducting a rally at a stadium? Why?" Nanok said, amid cheers from the crowd.
"That's not fair. He should know that's fair. He should know Kenya is changing. Nasa is going to be the government of Kenya. Another government is going to lead West Pokot, and it is of his (Kachapin's) opponent," said the governor.
Addressing a rally in Kapenguria, Siaya senator James Orengo also attacked Kachapin, saying blocking Nasa from using a stadium was a bad indication to leadership.
