Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo junior has launched a scathing on Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati saying that they will not bar NASA from adopting parallel vote tallying stations.

Speaking in Eldoret, Mutula said that the leaders of the opposition are not going to leave any stone unturned until Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga ascends to power.

“I am taking two minutes and I want to speak to Chiloba and Matangi. Mr. Ezra Chiloba, there is something referred to as contempt of court. Forget whatever you are talking about. The constitution is very clear, the presidential results will be announced at constituency declaration will be done somewhere else” he told the Jubilant crowd.

The senator added: “The announcement of the presidential results will be done in 290 constituencies and if you repeat your statement we are going to cite you contempt of court. The outspoken senator further said that the parallel polling stations will function just like the ones established by the electoral commission when that time comes and not even Matiang'i will stop opposition.

”When you count we will also count. You send we also send. Fred Matiang’i let me read the constitution for sir. We are going to adopt a polling stations whether you like it or not."

Matiang’i had said that he will not allow NASA to set up parallel tallying centers.
