Controversial Pro-NASA blogger Abdullahi Musa has sensationally claimed that Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth was the man behind the gun drama that happened in Dagoretti South during a football match on Sunday. "Peter Kenneth ruthlessly tried to play tribal politics to portray Senator Mike Sonko as a violent gubernatorial aspirant. In a stage-managed drama goons whisked Kenneth away while Sonko was making his way, PK's bodyguards started firing in the air," reads part of Musa Facebook post.
The rivalry between the two leaders played out after reports revealed that Kenneth had been invited as the main guest to the function organised by Dagoretti South parliamentary aspirant John Kiarie, only for Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko and Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru to show up with their supporters.
However, in his post, Musa dismissed the reports by saying both Sonko and Kenneth were invited at the public function.
"Peter Kenneth and Mike Sonko were both invited to attend the function," added Musa.
It did not take long before supporters of both camps descended on each other, forcing bodyguards to unleash their guns and opened fire.
Leaders from Jubilee and the opposition have equally condemned the Sunday incident and called for immediate action on the leaders involved.
