Prophet David Owuor prophesied the Narok-Mai Mahiu fissures back in April 2016.
Owuor called for Kenyans to be punished after local media covered negatively his prayer rally in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Mighty Prophet accused the Daily Nation of intimidating him through a story on Nairobi News which claimed that his miracles had failed.
“I saw an earthquake hit this land, it was a straight fault line and half the other side of the fault line sank, as though the Lord has now answered the prayer of the earthquake that I asked for to teach the land a lesson, a lasting lesson,” Owuor said on April 11 2016.
Ministry of Repentance and Holiness Turi Altar pastor Joseph Kagombe said the result of the fissures which happened two years later (2018) was the Mighty Prophet’s word coming to pass.
Geologists have however said the fault line is as a result of the Somali tectonic plate pulling away from the African one as a result of activity in the earth’s crust.
