Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga sparked excitement among his supporters when he rehearsed how he will take the oath of office at the end of this month if the opposition’s statements are anything we can go by. The supporters of the National Super Alliance (NASA)and leaders cheered as the Luo political kingpin took the oath during the launch of the people’s assembly in Machakos."I Raila Amolo Odinga swear that I will fight for the Constitution of Kenya with all my strength, so help me God," he said in Swahili, jokingly, while holding a Bible. The leaders of the opposition also said that he will stand with Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka as he seeks to ascend to power in 2022.The Former Prime Minister reminded NASA supporters that he is out to fight for his victory in the August General elections and not hatching a plot to shortchange Kalonzo as alleged by some leaders from the Jubilee side.“We are talking about our win in August 8, (Governor) Professor Kibwana has asked me to concentrate on 2022, Professor, please, we killed an antelope in August 2017… we want to get it, slaughter and feed Kenyans first. The one that is in the wild, 2022, we will help Kalonzo to hunt and catch it. Let us finish with issues of 2017 first,” he said.
