After sharing his academic certificates on social media to prove he is academically qualified for Nairobi's top job, senator Mike Sonko has revealed why he got grade E, in Mathematics.
Social media users could not 'shut up' after revelations that the flamboyant senator failed Mathematics by getting an E, in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Addressing the press after presenting his nomination papers at the Jubilee party headquarters, Sonko said Mathematics was not his favourite subject.
"I went to school. I did my KSCE at Kwale High School and got my certificate. Even though I got an E in Mathematics, but you know mathematics..,'' Sonko said, sending journalists and fellow politicians into laughter.
"I passed all other subjects,'' he added, Friday.
