An elderly woman was on Wednesday shocked after President Uhuru Kenyatta unexpectedly ‘grabbed’ her hand for a greeting.

President Kenyatta was sitting at the podim during a memorial service for the Solai dam tragedy victims when the woman went to collect offering during sadaka time.

The woman, seemingly, unawares of the ‘big’ man at the podium, went about her business but when she passed near the president, he reached for her hand and shook her.

Within a flash of seconds, it dawns on the woman that Kenya’s most powerful man has just reached for her hand.

She can be seen getting shocked over the feeling.
