[Photo/PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta has joined other politicians and Kenyans in using the popular ''Ndani Ndani Ndaanii'' phrase. The Swahili phrase was formed by Kanu secretary general, Nick Salat who made it, not knowing it would become the country’s sensation in politics, and during general talk. The phrase means ''in''.Salat meant Kanu was supporting the Opposition's National Super Alliance (Nasa), which by then, January, was still the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord).A lot of politicians have endorsed the phrase in their political rallies, as they campaign, seeking votes, come August, 8, elections. In entertainment industry, DJs and MCs are also using the phrase, to stress whatever they want to be absorbed by the public. However, president Kenyatta's saying of "Ndani Ndani Ndaanii'', may have come by surprise, given that, the phrase came just like any normal word, in a conversation.Uhuru used it as he addressed delegates of the Economic Freedom Party (EFP), Saturday. The Jubilee afilliate party was having a National Delegates Convention at the Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi, Saturday."You as our partners, will by God's grace, 'Inshallah', be part of our government. You our partner EFP, will be 'Ndani Ndanii Ndaaaniii'' in our government,'' Uhuru said in Swahili, amid cheers from the delegates."This is because our main aim is to unite all Kenyans,'' he added.Watch the video here, courtesy of PSCU.
