NASA leader Raila Odinga has said that former Meru governor Peter Munya talked to him before ditching the opposition outfit.

Speaking at a live interview on KTN Tuesday night, Raila said that Munya wrote to him explaining the pressure he was being subjected to for supporting NASA.

"I've received a message from Mr Munya wishing to tell me that he was under a lot of pressure and therefore he had no other choice. And I understand," he said.

As a result, Raila said he excused the former Meru county boss to leave.
