Vihiga United remained top on the National Super League table even after they failed to pick maximum points and settled for a barren draw by Nairobi City Stars over the weekend.
The single point earned moved the Vihiga County Government-sponsored side to 31 points after 14 rounds of play.
On the other hand, Nairobi Stima rose to second-place after their barren draw against Nakuru All Stars staged at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.
Former KPL sides KCB and Ushuru fumbled with their chances of closing the gap with leaders Vihiga after also settling for a barren draw in their weekend fixtures.
Ken Kenyatta-coached Ushuru are third while KCB remain fifth.
