A lady in Bochura, Nyatieko in Kisii County has abandoned her home after she allegedly committed an abortion.
The lady lost her husband last year, who left her with three children.
She is then said to have gotten into a relationship with one man in the village, who made her pregnant much to the shock of the village.
But on aborting, the process was incomplete, leaving some body parts in her womb which threatened her life.
She then rushed to the nearest hospital for help, with the locals getting wind of what had happened.
Some of the villagers secretly followed her to the hospital, and on realizing there were familiar faces, the lady took off, leaving behind a Sh10,00 bill.
Sources say she ran off to her relatives, with elderly women following up the matter accusing her of immorality as her pregnancy could be seen.
The women have vowed to teach her a lesson, and want her to explain what happened to her pregnancy.
