MCA aspirant in Bomariba ward Thomas Nyamote has urged Kisii locals not to vote for a party but vote for a leader who will bring development.

Nyamote said that he is aware of the political tussle in Gusii region between Jubilee and ODM parties but advised locals to vote leaders and not parties. 

"A political party does not bring development to the people. It is a leader who ensures that his or her people gets required development," he said. 

"Locals think voting for ODM or Jubilee will bring development. It is high time to vote able leaders who will be in the forefront to bring development in Gusii region," stated Nyamote. 

He urged Kisii locals to engage in peaceful politics ahead of the 2017 polls.
