Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong' who is seeking re-election on an ODM ticket has urged area residents to come out in large numbers and determine those who will carry the party’s flag during the party’s primaries, Thursday, ahead of the general election.

He was speaking to the press at Farm View Hotel in Busia town, Wednesday.

"I want to lead by example, thus my decision to be among the first to exercise my democratic rights,” he said.

On the nominations day, Thursday, Ojaamong' cast his vote at Busia Township primary school. 

He had earlier warned that only the party’s registered members would be eligible to participate in the exercise.
