Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana has assured the Kamba community that Kalonzo Musyoka has a realistic chance of clinching the presidency in 2022.Kibwana argued that Kalonzo will ascend to power if NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga wins the October 26 repeat presidential election.Speaking to journalists at his office on Thursday, Kibwana appealed to Kamba’s to vote for Raila in repeat poll to enable Kalonzo ascend to power easily in 2022.The Makueni Governor said the Kamba community has been patient, adding that their time to reap and be represented in national politics is coming soon.“We as the Kamba community have a golden chance of producing a president come 2022 only if we massively vote for Raila Odinga in the repeat presidential election,” said Kibwana, as quoted by the Standard.The county boss told residents that President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee government has no agenda for the Ukambani region, adding that they should not be swayed by the empty promises.Kibwana slammed rebel poll losers campaigning for Jubilee in Ukambani, saying they are wasting time.“We will stand with NASA because that is where our hope as a community lies,” he added.He pledged to lead door to door campaigns across the county to ensure NASA clinches all the votes in the repeat poll.
