The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) has called on Kenyans to respect each others right to participate in the Thursday's repeat presidential election.
NCCK Uasin Gishu Chairman Bishop Josphat Kimani says Kenyans who will be willing to vote on October 26 should be allowed to do without any interruption of any kind.
Speaking in Eldoret on Monday, Bishop Kimani further asked those who will not participate in the repeat poll to remain at home.
He said it was within the legal framework for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct the repeat poll.
"The courts said elections be held within 60 days and IEBC set October 26 as the day Kenyans will return to elect their President and that should be respected," noted Bishop Kimani.
"Those who have said they will not participate in the polls is their right but they should not block others from voting," he added.
