Suneka residents have been called upon to ensure that they register as voters so that they can easily vote out corrupt leaders.
Addressing a number of farmers at Ekiendege society on Tuesday former Bonchari MP Oloo Oyoka said that corruption has been a cancer that has been able to undermine development in the region and it’s high time a solution for the same is found.
Oloo said the short period he was a member of parliament he was able to initiate development projects in the constituency which has been stalling up to date and there was a need for the residents to vote him in so that he can complete them.
“I would like to call upon all of you not to be swayed by corrupt leaders who have stolen your funds so that you vote them back but instead ensure that you vote those who can bring better leadership to the area,” headed.
The former MP said that he is in the race to unseat the current Bonchari member of parliament and said that he has been in office for over 20 years and has done nothing that can help the residents.
