Machakos County Senator Johnston Muthama has urged Coastal residents to 'discipline' all ODM rebels through the power of the ballot.
"These are leaders who want you to continue being the tail while you help others ascend to power,” said Muthama.
Speaking on Saturday during the funeral of Grace Chihanga, an ODM nominated MCA at Kambe, Kilifi County, the senator called on the ODM secretariat to jump into action and weed out the rebels.
Kilifi Women Representative Aisha Jumwa echoed Muthama's sentiments saying that they cant risk going into the next general elections with leaders who are perceived to be rebels.
"We cant continue engaging with political renegades as they are working against our party's policies and agenda,” said Jumwa.
Some of the leaders from the Coast who have termed as rebels include Khatib Mwashetani, Mustafa Iddi, Masoud Mwahima and Zainabu Chidzuga.
