According to Ongaga Jubilee agents were allegedly giving out Sh500 to voters as they record their names and ID numbers.
He alleged that Jubilee agents had been going round Kisii and Nyamira counties collecting crucial registration details from people, especially areas perceived to be NASA strongholds.
“This is a wider scheme to lock out many NASA supporters from voting on the 8th of July and give Jubilee unfair advantage,” claimed Ongaga.
The aspirant also expressed concerns over the government’s efforts to register elderly people in a program that they say was shrouded in mystery.
“The Government, through chiefs and sub-chiefs, have been taking details of elderly people and the youth with the excuse of assisting them but we know their intention is to disenfranchise them,” he added.
He however called upon the area security team to ensure that they get to arrest those involved and arraign them in court.
“Let our people know that it is their democratic right to vote and they should not accept unscrupulous people to take away this right from them,” he added.
