A number of voters at Oroba polling station in Muhoroni Sub County, Kisumu have expressed their disappointments due to "total failure" of the KIEMS system on the poll day dubbed "Nane Nane".

The machines for one  stream failed to detect voters' finger prints, although the process went on smoothly in the other streams. 

This come after the IEBC Chairman Wafula Wanyonyi assured Kenyans that they were sure the gadgets would work well, and there would be free, fair, credible and transparent electoral process

Susan Atieno, who arrived at the polling station at 3.00 am with her baby, was disappointed when the machine failed to find her name after several attempts.

This was the case in many other polling stations, with residents venting their frustrations with no much help from IEBC.
