EACC boss, Eliud Wabukhala, has revealed that the commission has recommended for prosecution 100 county officials for engaging in corruption.The revelation brings to the surface the magnitude of the corruption crisis in counties that the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission is battling.Wabukhala was addressing governors at Diani Beach Hotel in Kwale County.He revealed that the corrupt officials were from twenty counties.''A further 304 cases are under investigation. The majority of cases are in respect of falsification of records, employment irregularities and improper conduct...'' Wabukhala said according to the Daily Nation.Wabukhala also revealed that counties like Migori were burning offices to destroy evidence of wrongdoing.
