Speaking on Thursday morning at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), Wabukala pointed out that the fight against this vice has been mainly directed in public offices yet the private sector is also affected.
According to Wabukala, Corruption involves different parties hence they should be held accountable.
"We must look at this carefully because in a bribery case, there is a giver and a taker," the EACC boss said.
Wabukala also said that anti-graft body is planning to change the strategy in order to save the nation’s resources.
KAM head Flora Mutahi backed his remarks saying that he will work with the commission to ensure that those behind the corruption are arrested and prosecuted in the courts of law.
Wabukala took over from Philip Kinisu, former anti-corruption boss who resigned on August 31 amidst claims that he had received Sh35 Million in the infamous NYS scandal.
Several leaders from both the opposition and ruling party have assured Wabukala of their support as the corruption body seeks to end the vice.
