ODM party leader and NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has claimed that former Devolution CS Ann Waiguru has failed to respond to questions that will make him defend himself in a defamation suit filed against him.

Raila said Waiguru should cooperate by answering the 15 questions his defence team had inquired concerning her lifestyle audit or the suit should be dismissed.

"I will be greatly prejudiced if these interrogatory questions are not answered as I will not be in a position to sufficiently prepare for trial," said Raila.

Among the 15 questions include, inquiries on Waiguru basic salary between 2006 to November 2015, and the amount of allowances she earned monthly, Raila also asked Waiguru to list the properties she owns by name and how much they are worth among other questions.

However, Waiguru responded by saying Raila's demands are unreasonable and petty tactics to delay the defamation suit she has file against the former Prime Minister.

"The information sought is malicious and threatens to unnecessarily violate the privacy of minors who are not party in this suit," she said.

Waiguru wants Raila sentenced for lining her to the NYS scandal, terming his utterances as black spot on her morality.

"He portrayed me as a woman of low moral standing, who is involved in unethical and professional misconduct," she said.
