Have you ever imagined a Kenyan politician who does not follow media briefings?
Former devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru has revealed what she does not do and everyone is shocked. The gubernatorial aspirant said that she does not read newspapers and watching television network is prohibited in her home. She stated that what media outlets air and publish in print media has hidden motives paid for by certain financial heavyweights.“I don’t buy newspapers; we don’t buy them in my house. I do not watch TV, I even don’t watch this show (Jeff Koinange Live) because they are paid for,” Waiguru said.Waiguru also revealed the reason behind her feud with NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a live show on Citizen TV, the former Cabinet Secretary lamented about how Raila chose to discuss her corruption in his public rallies.
Waiguru says that the former Prime Minister uses his huge following to tarnish her reputation to gain some political mileage. She explained that Odinga decided to start a personalized war against her after she exposed his weaknesses in the several decades he served the residents of Kibera.
She said that the money was recovered but due to political reasons, no one talks about the recovery.
